Dr Babs
Dr Babs is an etno-world crossover music project based on the collaboration with the Italian percussionist Maurizio Lampugnani and the lyricist Giuseppe Cupertino. The debut album, called 'Elementa' contains also the track 'Puglia', the soundtrack of the Apulia Film Commission video. Puglia is a collection of scenes filmed in the southern Italian region by various directors (Sergio Rubini, Pippo Mezzapesa, etc). The music is a blend of various genres including the typical local folk music 'Pizzica'.
